Iron Ore, manganese, Zinc, Copper etc are supposed to various
mechanical giats to produce metals alloys. On which the whole world
is currently depend upon sector such as building, automobile etc
which are mechanical sector. Mining is carried out in many states of
India but we will focus on mining in Goa state specially North Goa

region are Manganese and Iron ore.
Heavy
industrial jiants like the Dempos and Chawghule have jumped up and
started their excavation process from the post independent period
i.e. since 1947. India Government which support the FDI(foreign
direct Investment) have given a strong approval and support to the
industries growing in this sector. And as a result we see expansion
of mining industries in this sector. Happily is also provide
employment to the native workers. They have also share their profit
in sector like Tourism, education, paints, beverages, navigation and
transport.
But it
has its adverse effect on its own. Mining lobby have great nexus in
Goa. i.e. also due to bureaucrats supports them at high level which
has created
great economic between Villagers and mining company and the corporate
companies. Agriculture sector has faced a threat due to mining silt
which gets buried underneath spoils the cultivated soil making fields
uncultivable. Also mining has polluted water spring required for
drinking, horticulture and fishing purposes. Therefore we see
conflict between Mayem people and company or mining industry. Mayem
nature has been hit due to mining imbalance is created thus leading
to destruction of ecosystem and standard of living of all living
